Environmental Policy

Basic Philosophy
At TOMCOM, we always work hard to meet our corporate social responsibilities and to minimize our impact on the environment, and we conduct our business in a way that promotes a healthy global environment for future generations.
Environmental Policy
TOMCOM has activity centers located in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture and in Kakegawa, Shizuoka Prefecture that are engaged in data communication system related device measurement, production, and service activities.
We constantly remain aware of the impact these business activities are having on the environment, and all of our employees are committed to constant activities aimed at environmental protection.
  1. To build an environmental management system based on ISO14001 standards, and to strive constantly for improvement in order to prevent pollution
  2. To observe environmental laws and other requirements to which the company has agreed
  3. To remain aware of the impact that environmental activities have on the environment and to strive to give priority to lessening environmental impact in future programs
    (1) To strive to reduce the use of energy and other non-renewable resources
    (2) To draw up plans for comprehensive management of waste that controls generation of emissions, and collects and sorts and recycles waste.
    (3) To follow the laws in each country and the requests of users regarding management of harmful substances in products and materials
    (4) To promote incorporation of material and energy conservation into business efficiency improvement and to strive to prevent global warming
  4. To set environmental goals and targets, to put them into practice, and to review them periodically
  5. To make plans for sharing environmental protection understanding and awareness between all employees and others present on site through environmental education and company-wide promotions.
  6. To distribute this policy among all employees, others present on site, affiliated companies, and materials suppliers, and request their understanding and cooperation
  7. To make this policy available to the general public
